Hello and welcome to my corner of the internet. I'm April and I married my husband P almost 3 years ago. At that point in time, we threw out the condoms and started letting the chips fall where they may. I suffered a miscarriage in Jan. of 2008 at 6w, 3d. Since then, we've been trying to no avail.

Currently I'm waiting for my sonohystereogram next week. Previously we've had an HSG done which showed my left tube blocked and during which I managed to kick the doctor in the head. Grace is not my middle name. We also know there is a cyst on my left ovary and that because of the cyst, I have low FSH and high E2. It looks like I'm headed back towards clomid, but until the sono is done, nothing has been prescribed. So currently we are on the 3rd month of a break because apparently when one is trying to have a baby, my doctor forbids intercourse. Go figure!

Ten things about me

1. I'm afraid of snakes. Terrifed actually.
2. I'm going to the beach in August and I'm ridiculously excited about it.
3. I have never dyed my hair.
4. I prefer glasses to contacts and haven't worn contacts since high school.
5. I like corn on the cob.
6. My favorite flavor of ice cream is cookies and creme.
7. I'd rather sit by the ocean than by a pool. This explains the excitement about going to the beach.
8. I crochet, but don't know how to knit.
9. I love watching Dr. Who and have been watching previous seasons on Netflix on the Wii. It's almost an obsession at this point.
10. I'm a Gleek and have been re-watching Glee this summer as well.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll come back again!

Hang in there. I am sorry that some of your relatives are less than diplomatic/sensitive?!! Too bad there's no cure for that!! By the way, hate snakes, love Glee and am a Geek too. Best wishes from ICLW.

First time visitor for ICLW. Nice to "meet" you. ;-)

We have something in common, blocked left tuber here too! What a ridiculous thing for me to be excited about! LOL. Happy ICLW week and thanks for visiting! :-)

Ooh -- Glee!

Your doctor's reasoning sounds flawed somehow ;-).

I hope the coming months bring you good news.

Hello! Nice to meet you and thank you for your comment! I'm going to follow you now.

Sorry to hear about all of your TTC struggles. So hard!! I hope that the future brings you the baby you're hoping for.

PS - I've never seen Glee. I even recorded an episode once because there's so much buzz about it, but somehow still couldn't bring myself to watch it! Don't hate me! ;)

I really need to get into Glee. I would probably love it. I should have kicked my dr in the head during the HSG. She never told me anything about it prior to the procedure. I was in agony.

I am deathly afraid of snakes too! I once punched myself in the face because I saw one - seriously! My hands flew up to my face so quickly I punched myself...grace isn't my middle name either! :)

I also adore Glee - my husband thinks it's stupid but who asked him?

Lovely getting to 'know' you through your top ten. I've never seen Glee, but we are a household of big Dr. Who fans!

Hope your break is over soon. It feels so counter-intuitive doesn't it? (We are on an enforced pre-HSG break.) Fingers crossed for some answers and the green light to get trying again : )

I hope the sono goes well. And, I can sympathize with kicking the doctor during the HSG. I didn't, but I sure wanted to!!

Woohoo for Glee and Doctor Who!!

Hey I'm a Gleek too and I love Dr Who. What is there not to like ?! Or even love. Because to me, Glee is the wind beneath my wings.
Going to the beach is the summum of summer fun for me. I discovered this wonderful activity 3 years ago and if I don,t go once a week I feel like I missed out on tons of fun.
So Yay ! For watching episodes and going to the beach !
Happy ICLW

Happy ICLW! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I love to crochet too but haven't for some time. Knitting is def not as fun (in my opinion). I wish you luck in your journey!

Sounds like we have a lot of "likes" in common. As far as trying to conceive, have you tried Femara before? I just finished my 4th cycle on Clomid with no luck so my new RE switched me to Femara. Good luck on your journey!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Hope your waiting period is soon over so you can move forward. BTW, I love Dr. Who, too. Miss David Tenant though - he was much hotter than the new guy.

I heart Glee, too.

I'm so sorry for your loss and I hope that things turn around for you soon and the shg comes back all clear.
