Blogging 3 sheets to the wind

Or why I probably shouldn't be sitting down at the computer and typing after I've been drinking. The ex-wife dropped off the kiddo tonight and made the announcement she is due in February. She left and I began drinking. I'm not a big drinker, but I'm still at it and may continue for a bit tonight. Just when I was starting to come to terms with this whole infertility thing, at least a little bit in my mind, the universe decides that I need smacked in the face with the reality that others get pregnant at the drop of a hat and after 4 years of trying, I've had no babies.

Damn it, this sucks. Happy birthday and anniversary to me. My husband's ex-wife is having a baby.

Oh hon, I am so sorry. Drinking is completely understandable.

I hope things turn around tomorrow on your birthday.

I am so, so sorry. That's really not something you want to be dealing with at the same time as your birthday. :-( I would've had a stroke if my sister told me she was pregnant before I had any kids of my own (especially since I know she's actively preventing).

My birthday is the same day as yours, and I hope you are able to enjoy it at least somewhat. HUGS!

I'm so sorry. That sucks. I won't say I understand, but I will say that one of my fears is that my ex-husband's wife (a bit different than the husband's ex-wife) will become pregnant, and I will remain barren.

Happy Birthday, and I'm sorry. That wouldn't be good news to hear no matter when, but especially not on your birthday.

I have no words. Well, I do, but they aren't nice. Hugs. Lots of them. And a bottle of Pinot Grigio, my weapon of choice against OPP (other people's pregnancies).

Ooof. That hurts just to read. I'm sorry you had to experience it, and at a time you should just be celebrating, too. Wishing you peace and comfort in all available forms, booze included.

Here from the Roundup.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I'm waiting to hear the news anyday now that my ex's new wife is expecting. He has MF IF, but it was treated and got better and without female issues, they'll probably get lucky. ((Hugs)) to you.

Oh gosh... that is rough. I hope the news is a bit less painful at this point. This totally sucks. :( Hopefully you'll be sharing news of your own soon enough.
